1. Welcome & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to MLK Studio ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing our website, placing an order, or commissioning a custom set of artisan press-on nails, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines posted on our site.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
2. Artisan Made-to-Order Process & Creation Timelines
Every set of MLK Studio press-ons is handmade and individually crafted with multi-layer salon-grade gel, pigments, and premium embellishments.
- Standard Production Time: 3 to 5 business days before dispatch.
- Custom Request Production Time: 5 to 7 business days depending on design intricacy and gemstone placement.
- During peak promotional periods or holidays, creation times may be slightly extended. We will notify you promptly in case of delays.
3. Sizing & Customer Measurement Responsibility
A perfect fit is crucial for press-on nail longevity and natural appearance. We provide an interactive Sizing Guide with step-by-step instructions on how to measure each finger in millimeters.
Important Sizing Disclaimer:
Customers are solely responsible for selecting the correct size preset (XS, S, M, L) or providing accurate millimeter measurements when choosing Custom fit. Because our nails are artisan-crafted to your specific dimensions, MLK Studio cannot be held liable or issue refunds for incorrect sizing selected by the client.
4. Hygiene & Returns / Exchanges Policy
Due to strict cosmetic hygiene regulations and the bespoke nature of our hand-painted nail sets:
- All sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect sizing selection once an order has been created or shipped.
- Damaged or Defective Items: If your set arrives damaged or with a verified defect in craftsmanship, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at mlk.studio.est2026@gmail.com with clear photos and your order number. We will gladly arrange a prompt replacement.
5. Shipping, Courier Delivery & Risk of Loss
We deliver door-to-door across all provinces in South Africa via trusted courier partners.
- Standard Courier Delivery: 3 to 5 business days from dispatch (R85, or FREE on qualifying order totals).
- Express Overnight Courier: 1 to 2 business days from dispatch (R150).
- Once handed to the courier, tracking details will be emailed to you and accessible in your Profile Order History.
- Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are accurate. We are not responsible for courier delays caused by incorrect address entries or uncontactable recipients.
6. Payments & Security
All online payments are securely processed through our authorized payment gateway, Yoco. We do not store or have access to your sensitive card numbers or CVV codes. All transactions are encrypted and processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
